Assalam o Alikum

I have a booking in Bhurban for the mid of October.

Air tickets are really expensive for 5 adults and a kid.

I will be traveling with my wife and a kid 4years and my bros will be accompanying me.

I am looking to go with an AC sleeper and looking for complete privacy.

Can someone suggest if I can have a compartment of 2 Berths woth complete privacy and a compartment with 4 Berths with complete privacy?

Is this possible. How is it normally? Someone was saying that U get the berths and someone will get the seats down (this means no privacy)

Can U plz confirm and suggest accordingly

It depends.

Say the train is half full or not so full, you can do ' Qabza ' on a Berth, you, mrs and kid, while the other brothers can chill in another Berth.
Or you can find a contact who works in Railway and ask him to sort you out.

When ever I fly, I always choose the flight with minimum amount of people. Straight after take off, I do Qabza on 3 seats, take off my pimps and go sleep like a boss. Enjoy your trip, pictures are a must

AC Sleeper .. hmm.. Yes you can get privacy of 2 people cabin and 4 people cabin but now a days Pakistan Railways have really old AC Sleeper coaches unlike recently imported AC Business coaches.

Last week I traveled from AC Sleeper from Lahore to Karachi and its AC wasn't working and the environment was horrible and it was a miserable journey.

Better book 6 people compartment in AC Business class.

Yaar I saw on the website, the most expensive one was AC sleeper so I assumed that this is the best option.

The one you are talking about, is it the business class or the 1st sleeper.

The options mentioned on the site is Business class, AC Sleeper and First Sleeper

Which option should I go for?

And yar I really preferred privacy so that my would feel comfortable and easy...

Lets hope I get whats best for me and the family.

I'm talking about AC Sleeper which cost 4k (discounted) from LHR to KHI in Karachi Express. There are couple of new AC sleeper coaches also which they randomly put in some trains so it might be ur lucky day if you find new coach on the day you're traveling.

The best coaches now a days are Business class coaches (used in Karakoram Express, Karachi Express, Millat Express & Tezgam) .. sometimes old business class coaches are also used, they also have good AC but their toilets aren't in good condition.

Q.2 : With the same circumstances if there are 4 adults, then how come they get privacy ?

Q.3 : What about KHI - RWP ? which trains go directly to RWP who have Business Class also ?

Pindi tak 3400 in Tezgam & Khyber mail. Lahore tak 3000 (exception is karakoram whose fare is 4410) kids under 10 get 50% off and under 3 free. Business express has 4k and 5k depending on class. Kids get 30% off)
Book 2 seats extra if you got enough money.

I had to come to Lahore again last week. This time I used the same train, i.e. Karachi Express but now I opted for Business class because last time I had miserable journey in AC Sleeper.

So this time, I decided to see the AC Sleeper coach and I was amazed to see brand new AC Sleeper coach this time. Its AC was chilling at full speed with luxury compartments.

So its just pure luck.. your journey in AC Sleeper could be miserable or luxurious on that particular day depending on old or new coach is used.

At 5:30 PM from Karachi Cantt and arrival time in Rawalpindi is 8:30 PM next day so its 27 hours journey.

The only problem to travel tomorrow or day after tomorrow is the Azadi & Inqalabi march, other than that all days are feasible to travel.
