guys i am stuck with an issue where my car is making too much gas pressure in the petrol tank and fuel cant go in almost at all.
Today due to low milage issue i asked my mechanic to arrange carburator kit. Wen he started opening the carburator there was a strange scenario, fuel line was still feeding fuel even tough the car was completely turned off. upon investigation it was revealed that it was due to the air pressure created in the fuel line which was causing fuel to circulate the lines continuesly.
to cut long story short we were only able to stop the fuel from circulating by opening the filler cap and releasing the gas pressure.
Later all air pipes to and from the fuel tank were verified for any blockage and were found to be ok.
now i am running the car with a loose filler cap setting and experiencing a bit better milage mainly because wen the car is parked fuel is expectedly not conitnuesly circulating the lines.
what should be the permanent fix for this. i am confused at the moment.
experts please help.
