Need Alsvin or Yaris buying Opinion

If you want car with good features than you can go with alsvin but if u are curious about resale and parts availability than i might not recommend you alsvin at the moment while yaris is also a good car having a good resale and part availability.

Yaris is a very good car. Apart from looks. I was also in the same dilemma. After the purchase i am very much satisfied with the build and ride quality.

Simple ... buy Yaris,
if you did not like it down the road after a few years, you can sell it at even more price than you bought it for and then buy Alsvin (by that time it would have proven if it's worth it or not).

alsvin is the entry level sedan, yaris is the next upgrade...

alsvin has some extra accesories that they count, like tpms, heated rear view mirrors, cruise etc. but in real life these hardly matter. It does not have the refinements that yaris will provide.

yaris has real features, traction control, hill start assist, vehicle stability control, smart entry, push start, three driving modes... further it has a much superior cabin, acoustic windscreen that makes it very peaceful, climate control is a treat vs the ancient ac alsvin provides, smart entry and push start give you a much premium feel, much much superior audio system, very superior seating, Alsvin's rear seat is a competition for cultus only while yaris has a beautiful rear seat. CVT is much much refined hardly hear the gear shift, sports mode and econo mode make driving a pleasure, moreover why i hated alsvin was fuel, Yaris is about 5 to 7 kilometers extra.

while leaving any evening party or get together, the LED back lamps of yaris leave a much superior impression of your car vs the stupid small rear lights of alsvin... matlab no road presence/impression

one last thing, if you are sitting somewhere and you have that Toyota FOB/key in your hand, you get another level of respect while with a chinese car's key in hand, you always feel belittled.

Bhai ... I own a Yaris Ativ X as well. Pr aap ne thora ziada hi kar dia. No doubt its a good car. Alsvin isnt bad either.
Cruise is a very useful function. Sunroof is a shashka in its own. Every car has its pros and cons. Dont belittle others please

Sir Yaris mein jab aap mats dalwanay jatay hein tu cruise control aur retractable heated mirrors as a standard lega diye jatay hein....

as for the be-littled thing, this is my personal experience, owning a chinese, you are very often made to feel be-littled... they way people look at you and ask questions like, kaiesi gari hay, chalti hay, gear shift hu jatay hein, sun roof say pani ander tu nahi aata etc. etc.

i can understand people buying karvan for 17/18 lakh but buying a very small chinese sedan for 30 lackhs is beyond my understanding, had it been priced at 25 lakh for full option variant, would have been justifiable

Yaris, without a doubt. Alsvin is overpriced in Pakistan. Yaris has more safety features like VSC, Hill Assist and traction control. You also get advantages of toyota reliability, resale and parts availability. Alsvin extra features are sunroof, TPMS and cruise. In Yaris aftermarket TPMS can be installed in 4 thousans and cruise control stick in 8-10 thousand. The only thing you will miss is Sunroof, and that can only be used in 2-3 months in a year in most of Pakistan.

If you've limited your options to just these 2, then Yaris. Otherwise in this price bracket, I would recommend to get a used Civic X or 9th generation in good condition. Better value for money, as new Yaris, Alsvin and City are way too expensive due to PKR depreciation.
