Need an honest review: calling all civic and grande facelift 2017 owners

hello,
first of all i request all the people kindly dont start Honda toyota war, i just need 100% honnest and unbiased review regarding civic oriel 2017.
im in a serious confusion.
i have to decide between civic and grande. since both of the cars are better in their own terms, i like civic more then the grande in terms of style but as i have to travel in intercity and on highways of sindh i have doubt if civic will perform better for upto 5 years, there are so many corollas running good in my family and i want to try a honda now as i have never kept any of honda cars. well i want to ask few things about civic.
1. Ground Clearance as compared to grande facelift
2. drive pleasure as compared to grande
3. interior and exterior quality as compared to grande
4. fuel consumption as compared to grande.
i heared Civic had many faults at start dont know if all of the faults are rectified or not. heared quality of civic is too bad as compared to grande.
in this scenerio owner of both cars can tell better.
kindly put your input guys specially about civic as i have many doubts regarding it.

1. ground clearance of both cars are great for Pak roads after reborn there is no issue in civic wrt to ground clearance even with 5 average people in civic it does not touch speak breakers.
2. drive pleasure of civic is far better than grande its more sporty and driver oriented car unlike grande.
3. quality of both cars are almost same however found interior design have far edge over grandes one but in respect to quality its 19/20 better in civic and by this i am referring to 2017 october model the one at initial launch were full of small but many quality issue like fitting etc.
4. fuel comsumption of both are almost same grande maybe have around max 1kml edge over civic.
   The new models being delivered are almost flawless and far better in fitting quality and finishing than 2016 one as we own an 2016 model and have compared with new one however we didnt have any issue as being exaggerated by competitors which happens except a free battery change under warranty.
   I will recommend you civic for sure but for the best take, take test drive of both and find a conclusion yourself that would be the best solution.

thanks alot niazi bro, this helped me alot, what about road and engine noice in Civic? as grande have minimal road noise which increased the comfort. in some of the videos of civic X being driven fast you can hear a engine roar which is unlikely in grande.

I have a facelift corolla but whenever I see a civic I always think that I should have gone for this beauty instead. So yeah!

Civic has edge over Grande on following factors ;

• Far superior Interior and exterior design...
• Slightly better brakes and Handling.
• Electronic brake and Brake gold ( very useful in traffic )

Grande on the other hand

• Better headlights
• Comfortable and silent car
• Better fuel avg
• Imported Yokohama Tyres.
• Paddle Shifters
• Much smoother and Sporty ( Feel ) like transmission.

Overall I've found the build Quality and Corolla Far better than Civic X.

Had personal experience of 1.5T Civic check Engine light at 3,000km's which was driven throughout on high octane and multiple warranty claim visits to dealerships.

i think civic has edge over grande in suspension part as well, which is Multilink Suspension and i think its far better then the torisom beam in grande. can anyone shed some light on it ? whats difference between suspension of old civics and this new civic X ? heared from few owners that new civic's suspension is alot softer in bumps as compared to older suspension?.

Yes to my surprise it is.

I got a chance to go to Bahria EMC on a friend's Oriel. The Road was too rough with bad pot holes. We were 4 adults and for the first time in any Honda i felt it dampening the jerks just exactly like my previous Grande.

Really got surprised....

Both are equally good cars. For interior sindh, Grande is better but if your visit is once or twice in a month then Civic can fulfil your needs too.

I'll go for Civic in this price bracket.

sir will agree as its 2016 initial launched model and there were many very small issue in it as we own 2016 one also but the new 2017 coming models are almost flawless and this video is alot exaggerated even a very duffer person can get it like the points 9th gen have traction control like wtf he owns that car previously drove it even then what knowledge he had really wow and we also know the suneel munj is a grande lover so how can one expect a neutral review from his team he is the person who takes money from shitzuki to sponser there content. Also just see the tareffain about the most SHITTEST TYRE IN WORLD GENERAL BY HIM THIS KIND OF REVIEWS COMES JUST BECAUSE OF $$ and hence degrading the platform by pathetic reviews. laslty what jahil the owner is windows up down ki speed pa bhi masla bhai jan its like in whole world that speed even owner cant find as such suspension difference between 9th and 10th while there is zameen asman faraq between comfort of both the 10th is just outstanding and 9th gen is faster than 10th like really a cvt is slower than old prosmatic what a dumb person he is had many runs with 9th and in all it lost with around 1-1.5 car distance which keep increasing.

road noise is very minimal in civic but the engine noise is quite high and irritates you alot but only when you are flooring into MAX limits as rpm stay at around 6+ and engine noise is very high however due to fake shift in turbo and grande i like that alot.

I have driven Toyota Corolla Grande and I own 2015 Honda Civic and 2017 (unregistered) Toyota Altis 1.6. I think even 2015 Civic has a much better interior feel than Grande 2017. It feels very spacious due to aerodynamic interior. You feel you are driving a luxury car on the other hand - the only good things about Grande are steering feel / response and CVT gear shift. Otherwise there is no match. Honda is far superior car any day.

Yes you are right the plastic is not of a good quality but when you sit in the drivers seat the feel u get is far better than Corolla Grande.
