Hello everyone,
I'm currently driving a Suzuki Alto 2009 VXR. It was a cost-effective choice when we had CNG and a subsidy on petrol, but now it's proving to be quite a strain on my wallet.
My Travel Pattern:
- Monthly average: 1300km (1000km within the city and 300km in the village)
- Daily city commute to my office: Approximately 15km.
I'm looking to upgrade and have set aside a budget of 25lac.
What I'm Seeking in a New Car:
- Superior fuel efficiency: My Alto's dismal average is only 11-12km/litre.
- Affordable and hassle-free maintenance.
- A decent aesthetic appeal.
Considering our family comprises just three members and we don't go on long journeys very often, I'm leaning towards the Suzuki Cultus 2019 VXL after some research.
Feedback from Friends:
Honda City 2014
My Response: I don't see the need for a sedan. Most of my driving is city-based, with significant traffic making maneuverability a concern. The City's fuel average isn't impressive, and its maintenance might be more demanding than I'd like.
660cc Japanese Cars like the Mira, Honda N G Wgn, or Daihatsu Move
My Response: While these cars may offer a plethora of features, they're older models. Maintenance and acquiring parts can be pricey.
I value this community's expertise and would greatly appreciate your suggestions. Given my travel patterns and preferences, which car would be the best fit for me?
Thank you!
