Need help choosing my first project car

Hey guys, I'm 18 and looking to buy my first project car with a budget around 30 lakhs. I want to build something fast, and I’m leaning toward an old German car—thinking about an E36 or E46. My plan is to either swap in a 1UZ or just buy one that’s already been swapped. Any suggestions on other German cars that might be better for the money? And between the E36 and E46, which one would you pick for a fun, fast build? Appreciate any advice

Don't do it. Swaps costs almost as much as your budget. Best to get a toyota and play with that, a crown or a mark 2 for that matter

sir @moidbashirshaikh7 unless you can dirty your hands and have interest in DIY it is not recommended to trash your monies. as a wallet holder you will be crying stock. Incase project finish in an years' time, within 6 months you will throwaway your vehicle at half the price within 100 days after finish.

If you want a modern car start with a Civic any thing from 1988 onwards. in munasib but unrusted condition

For old school start with a KE70 Corolla. Stay away from rust.

You’re right but like the stock car will take up all my budget but on pak wheels I see like a swapped e36 2uzfe selling for like 18 lakhs I think but I’m just really unsure about the reliability it is a Toyota engine tho but usually these swaps have many electrical problems

I really always wanted a car with a big engine civics can’t rlly do those and ke70 imo I don’t rlly like the looks of it but I checked some prices of swapped e36 and they sell for like 20 lakhs what do u think a e36 with a Toyota v8 engine swap in that budget is worth it?

You should first go to the market and inquire about parts, parts are crazy expensive, so are engines. Doing a project on a budget is something that will drive you to either insanity or suicide.

I don’t rlly worry about parts because I can source parts from uae I’m mostly just concerned about the mechanical issues but I talked to a lot of owners and they said they don’t have a lot of problems since it’s a Toyota engine
