Need help deciding to buy a honda civic 2018 1.0 Turbo hatchback

Asalam o alikum

Recently I've gotten to test drive a honda civic 1.0T hatchback and it has really made me fallen in love with the car but I've been thinking long and hard about it because of the things I've heard problem multiple sources saying that the engine is discontinued and that it has some issues. I've done my research and I am looking for opinion of other people who have also driven that car or know some information about it. Thank you.

It's an enticing hot hatch. But imo better is to stick to the 1.5T if you're into turbo or NA civic X, preferably first owner and honda maintained service history.

I already have a 1.8 civic X but the hatchback the the features it comes with really pulls me towards it, and I've test driven it you can hear the turbo spool and hear the turbo discharge which I've never heard in a civic 1.5 civic turbo.

I get it .
I also had a 2018 Oriel. But missed the turbo oomph.
Changed to 1.5T, got it from a first owner with honda maintenance service history and alhamdulillah thoroughly enjoying it.
I guess you can go for it after getting the car inspected from Honda and PW.
