"need help for cng expert"

Hello all experts.

A collegue of mine gave me the address of this web site, as I am facing a lot of problems in my car. I have Honda Vario, 2005, I get installed cng kit almost 6 months back, I have got it converted to save some money but from the day I have got it converted, there are many problems one after another poping up, my working conditions dont allow me to run behind workshops or mechanics, also during my working schedules some times I dont even use my car for 10/15 days. I am a working lady, so you can not immagin that how difficult it is for me to manage my own schedules.

I took my car to Honda service center but they said that they cannot help me regarding cng matters. So during finding some solution of my problem I discussed with one of my collegue during my last flight.

He advise me to look for some educated technical person rather to go in any regular cng workshop. Well, to cut the long story short, could you people advise me some body expert on cng matters, my car is now giving me trouble on petrol too.

well looks like that advancer you have had installed is not working properly as its not matching with system as well as City Vario creates damn problems when converted on CNG...its so much light tranny made which creates problem on CNG almost.....manual City does better but Vario makes lots of problem like u lag in pickup....gear changing problems on speeds and so and so.......!
well as i am in KHi......from where u get CNG installed....
well CNG KIT ZONE on Jail Road,FRIENDS CNG Services Near Balouch Pull and STANLEY HOUSE on LASBELA are well known in Khi......!

I am really confuse, shuold help you or rectify the car? You did not mention that what is going on with your car, is there starting problem? or its not running well or what exactly trouble you are facing.

With your story I am afraid we cant help you, unless you identify some issue.

Please be specific on the behaviour of your car. We will love to help you out.

Dear All....................Thank you very much for all what you said, but as I told you that I am a lady, not a mechanic or driver, so I know very few things about the engines or parts name and its terms. My problem is that car is not starting well some times, its not running smooth, some time i feel that its just going in one gear, as its automatic and i dont need to change gears.

Well as you said, all ladies are same, even my wife just drive the car, dont even care the traffic signals

So, you must be not even know that which brand of cng kit and its accessories have been installed in your car.

In this case I would sugesst you to just let me know after driving your car only on petrol. Do not switch over to cng. If you drive it smoothly, or is there any starting troulble?

After that I will tell you to proceed further. BTW nice pic. Is it you

Yes, I went out for few things to do and drive only on petrol, its start well all the time, but its not running smooth, I feel that I have to push more padel to accelerate, and there is something wrong I dont know how to explain but I am not feeling easy to drive.

What to do? Isnt it possible that you take the car and fix it?

Tell you what. Next time when you go out some more "things" and you're done doing those "things"...Drive around until you see a shop that says "MECHANIC" and "CNG" on the same sign. Drive in, park, get out use your sweetest voice and believe me you'll be tearing up the tarmac in no time and if you throw in a bit more sugar, they might even giv your car a free once-over.
I'd say it beats the hell outta asking some poor bloke from lahore to come over and adjust your NG mixture for ya!

Bibi, first of all I am sitting faraway Lahore from Karachi, I can recommend some solution or some good cng installtion house, havnt you visited the one from where you have get installed your kit? whats their observations and why dont they providing you after sale service.

As you told that your car is not running well on petrol too, so its better to get it checked from Honda service center again and get it tunned on its original fuel first.

And yes, some ppl sitting near to you are more worried than me

Actually the person Mr. Salahuddin who has his setup on Islamia college road has converted my car unfortunately died few months back, so now I cant give my car to him, as he was my neigbour and took my car and did all the job for me, I dont know anybody else on his setup, though went there and to few other nearby, but couldnt get it sorted by anyone.

some times after cng people do something, car runs smoothly for a day or two, after that comes back to the same position.

if you give some name or phone number of an expert, who really know how to fix it permanently, I will be grateful.

Do u care for dogs barking at streets? I dont.

Hi, Thanks Spectra, I dont know how to contact Karachi experts, but I think there is non, can you ask some one to show his face here, or tell his contact information or guide me to some proper place. I heard very high of Pakwheels, but sorry to say I still not getting any help.

Also I tell you that I took my car to cng zone but of no use.

Can you tell me some one who really is an expert and confident about his nature of job.

3rd reply on this post is from a karachi expert named farrukh. his nick on pakwheels is SER_GTR.
better consult honda dealership to tune the car on petrol first and get a lambda controller installed if it is not already there.
also most pakwheels members from karachi are anti cng, maybe that is why no expert is showing up.

i think u shuld go through old forums, what i m guessing is that u shuld first drive ur car few kms daily on petrol and then shift it to CNG and before going home shift it to PETROL back, it will not only increases the engine life but also gives u the feeling while driving on PETROL, also make sure u get ur car tunned from sum expert and in morning always start the car on petrol and leave it idle for something so that the lubrication is done properly among the rings and then DRIVE upto 2 to 3 km and then shift it to CNG i hope this shuld solve ur problem.hopefully.

Hi Spectra, I think Farrukh SerGtr do not have any workshop, as he just told me to go to here and there, which I have done already, Like at Islamia college road on few cng places the boys just adjust a screw and said its ok now and the owners or managers dont even know that what those boys are doing, I watched them.

Isnt it funny that members here are anti cng, is this some politics? I came here for technical expert advise and people here telling me that they can not do any thing, just good thoughts to drive on petrol and switch like this like that.

What do you think, are the experts do like that? Now where this Logas has gone? If he is reading can he tell me some good person in Karachi, if he is sitting faraway. You people must be knowing each other well and your so called experties.

i cant help coz there can be a hundred reasons for a badly tuned car,,, as i am in islamabad
