Dear All,

Asalam-o-alaikum,

Need help to arrange a 3 to 4 days tour from Lahore to Swat (Kalam) through public transport in last week of October for me and my wife. i have seen many threads regarding this on P/W forums but those all were 1 to 3 years old could anyone help me with the current situation of transport fares, accomodation,food prices, Ushu/mahodand lake jeep fare etc in swat or if any one visited swat this year kindly share their experience.

i just visit swat, mahodand lake in Sep 2018, but not use public transport.

just back from swat on 27 sep'2018 , no rush of tourist rates are too cheap good hotel in 800 or 1000 (standard). jeep fares not more than 4k till mahodand. i would not advise public transport you can hire fielder in 3K from miingora to kalam or vice versa. you can use public transport till mingora but local transport is not bearable with family.

*or vice versa (mingora to kalam , kalam to mingora) yes normal hotel charged 800 to 1000 honey moon hotel may charge more than this.

V hv visted via Public Transport in 2016. Detail s as under
Day1:
- Lahore to Mengora By Dawoo
- Here v hv booked Fielder in 13000 for 3 Days including fuel
- Reached Kalam entoute Behrain & Madyan
Day 2:
- Left for Glashier & Usho
- Drived back to Madyan & reached Malam Jabba
Day 3:
- Explored Malam Jabba
- Explored Fizzaghat Park
- Left via Dawoo @ 2000

Total Persons: 5
Cost Per Head: 6000

Need suggestion which transport service shall i use from Lahore to Swat. Swat coach or Shahid coach or any other service which would be economical? As i m leaving next Thursday night.
