Need Help - Ford Ranger

Aoa.
One of my colleague has Ford Ranger and it had this battery installed in it.

Varta H3 Blue Dynamic 600 044 067

Now it has gone kaput and we’re looking to replace it.
One of the famous dealer at Qartaba Chowk is asking Rs. 88,000/- for the Silver Dynamic version.
Other option he has is Auto Power (Spanish brand) for Rs. 72,000/-.

According to him if we place local (Osaka, AGS, Daewoo) brands instead then the car will not perform efficiently and it will also give fault codes.

I just want to know if we can place any local brand 100ah battery or we have to purchase same Varta brand?

Update:

1) Daewoo DIN-1000 - 100ah
Website showing its price for around 27,500/- but none of the dealers have it in their stock. Some even said “kompnee ab ye maadel banati hi nahi”

2) AC-Delco ACD-100D - 100ah
So I came to know about it while searching and found out that ACDelco is an American brand. Some of the dealers in Lahore quoted its price around 40k, but they will confirm tomorrow. It comes with 06 months warranty.

In my opinion, this is the 2nd best choice after Varta in half the price.

Capacity is not a problem. the size(dimension) is.

Do not buy the ac delco branded trash being sold in Pakistan, its some really oddball surplus garbage that was probably bought as auction lots.

You will be replacing it next week,

H3 din battery is slightly oddball but not impossible to find, its also used in some audi vehicles.

Depending on your vehicle, you may need to register the new battery information to the cars ecu too,

02 of the dealers who claimed to have it said they have fresh imported stock. However both said “ishtock khatam ho gaya” the next day & offered AutoPower battery costing 72K.

The vehicle is Ford Ranger 2012.
