Need help from Toyota JZ owners!

I am planning to buy a toyota mark II which has a 1jz-fse engine and I wanted to know how much mileage does it give in city? and also Reliability?

Hey Ayan3, i've kept a 1JZ Mark II. First thing first, i regret selling that car. It was one hell of a thing. The 1JZ motor is superb. Very strong and reliable. The JZ series is one of Toyotas best engines. Go for it, as these cars are way waay better than the local crap (corolla civic). Good luck (Y)

Have Kept 2JZ-GE [3000cc] crown , similar to 1JZ-GE[2500cc] but more displacement ....Both these engines would gave max 8-10 Km/l not more than that on a good day ,if engine & sensors and other things are working fine ..
