Ducted ventilation is for forcing air inside or outside the house. It will require some sort of fan or blower to blow fresh air in or out. I have seen some homes which have combined it with an air cooler. The air cooler is usually positioned on the roof and the cool air is passed through the house using ducts. A few well positioned ducts can help keep the entire house cool. The ducts can be concealed under false ceilings. It is principally very similar to a centrally air-conditioned system, except, instead of an air conditioner you are using (evaporative cooling) air cooler.
However, the use of an air cooler brings the problem of moisture. Air conditioners dry the air, while air coolers do the opposite so the ducting will need to be designed of a material that can withstand the moisture and preventive measures will be needed to ensure that the humid environment does not promote the growth of fungus.
