I don't know much about Alloy Rims, but some Members say that Cheap Alloys can make your Ride 'rough' and can damage your car suspension.
So, you should be careful in their selection.
My Parent's Mehran 06 has Factory fitted General Tires. Ofcourse they are due for change, but still I didn't face any Handling issues with them so far. But I mostly drive upto 60 mph, and take turns on very low speeds.
Most PakWheel memebers don't recommend General Tires. As far as I know, they underrate them because of poor Road grip and comfort.
I have noticed that these Tires are hard on rough roads. So you need to be very careful about Roughness of the road.
Some +ve Points of General Tires:-
- Long lasting thread
- No Smuggling Issue (They are made in Pakistan)
- Good handling ( In my case. )
I have included 'Good handling' because I have not faced any problems so far, and because I have only drove on General Tires :).
So far I found some Good rated Tires for Mehran on PakWheels :-
- Yokohmama S707
- Hankook Optimo ME04
- Bridgestone B70
- GT Classiro
As Mehran has somewhat Hard suspension, I think Hankook Optimo ME04 could be a good choice. I have heard they are Soft tires.
