Need help in purchase of family car

We plan to get our first car in a month or two approximately. But there are too many options which confuse both me and my father. We need a family car for five persons and also the one which will be good in long run. As far as I've known these vehicle thingies, honda and Toyota are major market holders. We have a price range of upto 4.2 millions. Now, expecting some experienced people to help me along the way.

It’s your first car and most likely for primary use. Go for honda or toyota. Hybrid and new entrants cars are recommended for those who already have one car at home or use it for secondary purpose. Always go for top of the line variant instead of buying a stripped off/ base version of higher segment. For e.g Yaris ATIV X CVT/ Honda City Aspire CVT is better than Altis 1.6. I’m inclined more towards city Aspire because i own it, otherwise if you don’t have any problem with yaris exterior looks than go for yaris Ativ X.

As your family car please make a decision for vehicle which is fuel efficient, and economical over maintenance. a personal preference for family vehicle shall always be a sedan with boot space.

Buying a vehicle in Pakistan is capital investment take your time do not go in panic buying because of any pressures.
