Friend of mine and I are planning our first trip up North (went as kids - don't remember) and need advice! We'd like to start in Peshawar on Thursday Aug 24th afternoon and be in Islamabad by the following Thursday Aug 31st evening.

Is this route efficient enough for 7 days? Too much? Are the streets decent enough for a 2015 Corolla to pass easily, or do we need something larger?
Budget = Rs 50,000 each to include:
Hotels = Comfortable with decent and enough to explore/eat nearby. We have been best friends for 20 years so a single room with a queen or king bed is enough.
Car & Driver/Guide: Would love to get some recommendations for a chill driver/guide who can give us a better local experience and stay with us from Peshawar until Islamabad.
Food, taxes/tolls
Flight from/to Karachi
