Diesels are fun to drive. They are known for their immensely outrageous economy on highways. May pull 20kmpl if kept well. Never get the pump or nozzles adjusted because I've personally found out most of the diesel laboratories here screw the economy.

However diesel has slow Acceleration & good low end torque. And diesels don't usually require huge maintenance cost like efi petrol engines require so as said above both have there own pros n cons.
Good 4e or 5e swap is nearly 160-170k's as engine prices are really high. Anything cheaper means they're civil or Singapore engines.
