Need Help Sourcing Brake Rotors

Could someone please help me find brake rotors for a 1992 Suzuki Jimny? Mine are at 7.1mm, past the discard thickness of 8.0mm, and they are not available anywhere that I have looked in Karachi.

Anything will do. Suzuki OE part number 55211-80000, alternate OE part number 55211-80020. I've asked Parts Central, waiting on them to respond. @rajaatta @dani_kk I would like your help too, please - the rotors should be the same as the Samurai, SJ410, Potohar.

I am willing to pay for shipping to Karachi if anyone is willing to help from RWP/ISL or elsewhere in the country. Thank you.

Well, I'm trying. No luck so far. I don't know why nobody has measuring instruments anymore. Forget calipers, even just a ruler. I was successfully able to convince someone to use an "eeeinchee-taip" but they couldn't even take a picture properly.

Genuine Suzuki (5521180000) is available in Japan for almost 70 USD / Piece without delivery charges.

It will cost you alot and it's better to go for any alternative with the same measurements as discussed by @pwuser162557941033.

As discussed by @Xulfiqar Bhai you can check local made ones too.

Ideally look for Potohar / Jimny/ Siera Groups on Facebook too.

These are custom paid / Non Custom are in hi number being used in Interior side (balochistan and Punjab).

Local mechanics can definitely help you.

I'll check with a friend in Plaza tomorrow and update you. Sj410 disk rotors shouldn't be very hard to find.

Also please let me know if it has front disks or drums.

Front disks, rear drums. I have still had no luck. Would be great if you could locate them. All I've seen so far are from Kabul, or "new" but ridiculously rusty.

And yes I saw this on the fake ndestore.com, with a picture of the drums saying rear brakes while the product listing header says front rotors.

Interestingly initial SJ410s came with a 4 wheel drum break setup.

Anyways if you can source new ones with rust that isn't an issue. You can always get them polished.

That's interesting, yes, the SJ410 from the early 80s I'm sure, extending into Pakistani production perhaps.

My vehicle is a JDM JA11 Jimny, which is from when the kei car regulations changed from 550cc to 660cc in 1990, close to the launch of the North American Samurai in the mid/late 80s.

By that time I'm assuming they had the current setup I have, i.e. front discs, rear drums.

And thank you very much, that would be very helpful. The alternative is to order some Samurai rotors from the US. They'll run me about $170 shipped.

A few years ago a Suzuki dealership in DIkhan was selling left over brand new genuine parts of Potohar for 50 % discount. I bought some items for my sarkari jeep. And interestingly front brake rotors were also there. But I didn't buy as mine were fine. And all parts were dirt cheap.

Called him, he says he only has body parts. No brake discs, didn't even know what they were.
