YES Dear. It can be a big problem.
Automatic Transmission (AT), and Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) are 02 totally different types of transmissions, and accordingly, they need different fluids, exclusively designed and specific to them.
You do not pour CVTF in an AT car, or ATF in a CVT car.
That newly poured CVTF would have immediately mixed with the ATF already present in the transmission, Torque Converter, etc. and I fear, now complete flushing of transmission fluid is required.
Simple drain and fill will not work now, or prove effective.
YES. You may have it changed ASAP, and complete flushing.
