Need info about car polish machine

Hi guys.

I am wondering if someone can guide me about car polishing machines. Im looking to buy one and i have several questions.

I live in Rawalpindi and i dont know where to buy one. If someone knows the exact location in pindi/isb ill really aplreciate it.

Does anyone have it or can recommend a particular brand? I've seen the black n decker one at metro, its for about 7k but i dont know if its good or not and i'm sure there are better ones out there.

Does using the machine damage the car paint? I've heard this opinion from people but never discussed it. Is it true?

Dont buy rotary bro..get a dual action and it will be safer for car paint. Rotar is for professionals only else u may end up damaging ur paint and that too permanently

So how do i tell which is rotary?

Also, by dual action you mean a machine a spins in both directions, am i right in assuming that?

Dual action has both variable speed and orbital motion. It avoids burning of paint. Dual action polishers are costly ..over 20k ...eith polishing and finishing pads. Rotary ones athe ones u find easily at around 7-8k. Avois rotary unless u have full knowledge of the usage and practice as well.

20k is little too out of my budget. But i hope i can get it cheaper. Thanks bro.

Very hard to find cheaper. Reason is polishing and finishing pads are costly...and also no detailer will sell it unless their is a fault or he ia getting tired of cars. Better have the car done professionally and maintain it. Its just too much of a hassle and associated cost

Yes i agree. I polish my car at least once a month by hand and it takes forever and is also very tiring. Havent polished in a while because of that. So i thought i should buy a machine instead.

Why do u need to polish monthly. Use good wax like collinite 845 and clay/scrub after couple of months..it will be cheesyyy chicknii.

Use sealants like jetseal to enjoy even longer lasting durability. I have always kept cars gleaming and super shiny without polishing more than twice a year

I did not know that. My car is black, gli 2010. I use Sonax black polish for it. And it seems good enough but after a car wash it usually goes away.

Tell me about coolnite845 and the clay scrub also jetseal. Their prices and how to use them. This sounds very good that good polish can last longer.

U can find collinite 845 from Pakwheels store or from autohub.com

Use ph balanced shampoo like chemical guys mr pink and wax won't be removed..car will last much longer with shine and water beading
