Need info about honda d17z1 engine

I bought a civic few days ago and the owner told me he had the engine changed and had no info regarding it so anyone of experts knoe about this engine will tell me about this engine as conapred to d16w9 which is in our civics , and the csr is a 05 eagle eye civic
