Need information about Leeks valley AJK

I want to visit Leepa valley in AJK this summer probably in 1st week of June 2016. Can any body guide me regarding road conditions and accomodation availibility. Also, is it feasible to visit there with family? Plz note that I have already visited neelum valley till Taobut and families to some extent.

You can not visit LEEPA VALLEY with out prior army approval because of active LOC cross firing. Further stay options are only at army rest houses. Valley is full of raw beauty because it does not have easy access for every body (civilians). Track is suitable for 4 x 4s only.

Just in case anyone comes across my post in next few hours,

What is the route to leepa, with travel timings.
What level Of facilities available at army guest house? Booking won't be an issue.
As mentioned 4*4 track, where to park cars and hire jeeps?

I am spending some time searching the forums, hopefully I ll get the desired info.

Routeof Leepa Valey ill be liktht from Islabad..Murree (through Expressway).Kohala..Than Muzafarabad...
Muzafarabad. to Garhi Dupta(Sirinagar rad)..Hatian Bala...

At Hatianala you will leave main road & turn left on a paved road for Reeshian.....
Reeshian onwards its a pure 4x4 Jeep Trek...Its advised to Park your car at Htian Balla Petrol pump and hire a Jeep
But please take Army permission in prior for rest house as well as visiting the Leepa other wise problem
There is a big & big & beautiful water fall near Leepa Valley known as Cham

It was all booked till 5th June.

So dropped the plan, MIGHT go there next weekend, family resisting because of Ramzan.
