Need member opinion : Vitz Or Corolla - Daily driver

Salam to all

By grace of Allah I'm going to replace my old daily driver (Integra)

I have a choice of following two cars. Need advice of senior members.

Vitz 2014 Facelift. Unregistered. Will be looking for one between 15-15.5 lakh (as per company provided budget) that's done 50,000km or lower in Japan (preferably 20-30k)

Corolla XLi/GLi Manual 2014-2015. Will have to add my own money to go upto 16-16.5 lakh. I expect it to be similarly upto 50k driven, but locally ofcourse.

My priorities are comfort and ease of drive, resale and fuel economy (in that order). I drive daily to work at chundrigar so lots of traffic.

Would prefer advice from people who have kept both.

In my humble opinion Toyota vitz ticks all these boxes perfectly well . You should go for it .

Vitz being automatic will be better for self-driven daily driver.

Vitz. You'll be better off with that car. You can possibly get a decent variant too in that range.

Not too sure on long term battery life. 4-5 years main already 3-4 year old car ki battery would die out

People do claim they last for 500,000 km. But it's a claim, can't be sure.

Aqua is bekar in Pakistan bro . Vitz is a much better option in intercity travels .

vitz will be better in resale and longterm probably and you wont have to worry about the hybrid system or the batteries that come in the aqua although aqua is a really good car but then again its better to buy one in the low mileage range and a high grade which might not come in your budget. All in all vitz being a one of the most imported cars in pakistan with the autogear box will serve you good as a daily driver no doubt.

Aqua is overall a better car than Vitz.
However in your case either will do .
