Guys i am going back to 0w20 from 10w40 should i flush my engine of i can go without it.
No need to flush the engine. Just move to the required grade after draining.
Engine flush is for those cars that might not have a history of service and has chances of accumulated sludge or carbon in the engine. If the car has been regularly serviced and there is no issue then no need.
2 to 3 early oil changes will act as an engine flush. Dont go for flush using some flush chemical as you cant get the chemical out of the system completely.
