I have Suzuki Mehran of Model year : 2000 and it is not functioning properly for the last year. One of the spark plugs gets faulty after every some duration of time and they also all got contaminated from the oil so needs cleaning. Its crankshaft makes grinding noise when accelerator is increased up to 50 percent or more. The exhaust pipe gives blue smoke at the startup only but after that exhaust remains covered with black soot powder and sometimes eject black soot powder out of tail pipe especially in winter at ideal. The mechanic is recommending that engine is weak and needs repairing. I want the suggestions from you all about whether I choose to go with overhaul of engine or to replace with used one with better condition?
