All d series share same mounts but d17 and d16 variants which are coil on plug were made for ES Civic. EK came with D15 D16 distributor variants. D17 isn’t that reliable compared to D15B.

I have many more questions now.

The plan for building my EK includes:
--Body work (Denting/Body Kit/Painting) (This is sorted)
--Headlights / Taillights (This is sorted)
--Coilovers (This is sorted)
--Engine Swap Pending
--Stage 1 Update (some new phrase I recently learned) Pending

I'm planning to swap because i am looking for performance.
Currently I have a healthy D13 but looking for a kick.
I am still researching my options,

K20 is expensive (expensive engine, lots of fabrication and work)
D15 sounds old but looking at the specs, they are same as D17.
D17 sounds (and reads) a better engine but since you mentioned that engines which came in ES models require more work,

If I spare no more than 60k what good performing engine can I get? price includes labor.

Remember that I am not building this to sell out soon nor do I like to race.
Just want to build this for a better experience and I am looking for a little more power than I currently have.

Which Engine do you have in your ek right now?
I would suggest you that if you are into high speed driving or racing then go for swap to a performance engine and if not stick to current one. i have EK 98 with D16Y4 on wiki it says engine produce 120HP and indeed it's power delivery is awesome few days back i had a sort of race with corolla latest but he remained on my tail and was unable to cross me and i have auto transmission with stock engine without any mods. I had same plans like you but for daily driven cars fuel economy is important if you are using your pocket
For Performance engine i would suggest you to checkout for H22A it's a beast you can get compatible mount from aliexpress for your EK. I'm from Karachi and here it cost around 1.10Lac with engine+transmission+ecu+wiring

I currently have an old D13 and obviously looking for an upgrade to get a performance kick.
I have my eyes on D17 and D16 due to limited budge but surely D16 is becoming more pleasing.

Are mounts easily delivered from Ali Express? Can you share a link if possible for the mentioned engine?

Getting it installed from Max Power Motor Sports.

Alright Folks, I had the engine installed but Max Power suggested I get the exaust installed. Probably with new piping. Any suggestions who can help in Lahore? Budget is tight. I don't need a muffler with loud
sound.

A 2.5” piping setup would be beneficial to extract the most power from this setup. You will need a chambered exhaust to keep the noise low though. It still wont be as silent as stock but that’s the call u have to make
