Need solution (1 letter of chasis number is disappearing) someone is saying sell asap, someone is saying painter will fix it through fiber filling, someone is saying go to avlc department. I am really confused, kindly provide resolution. Car is Honda city

Bro before making any changes/remedies, get it checked and verified from ACLC and took their authentication... Once fabricated/repaired it will be difficult task so better to get is verified as it is and take clearance certificate then go for any changes. Make sure you should keep video evidence while repairing will be supportive for you while selling... Thanks

What needs to be done is to stop the progression of rust. If you go to a denter or do any tapering with that area, it will constitute chassis number alteration (which as you know is illegal) even though you are not doing so.

I would suggest to apply a chemical over the rust that will convert rust (iron oxide) to iron phosphate. This a very old tried and trusted solution to stop rust in its progression. I personally have used this chemical and vouch for its effectiveness. The brand I used is not available in pakistan but they basically all work the same.
