*Need suggestion about the painting rims

Salamz to all,

i was kind or getting bored with the same look of my club so thought id cange something....so i was thinking about changing the rims...but i like the current ones...and mainly i dont wana invest so much :S :D...then i thought i could change the colour of my rims....i was thinking of painting them to white or matt black what would you guys suggest?

Secondly i always loved to have eye lids on the this car...got any idea where i can get pastic ones ?

OH and for all you ricer lover/hater, since there is no proper gauge on which you judge a riced up car....where do i stand?(After im done with the above) Cause i would SIMPLY hate it if some called my little kido a RICED-UP car....cause ive tryed to keep it simple as possible!

i often spray matt black paint, whenever paint comes off .. ive also been thinking to have powder coated paint done but that means i have to see my car without wheels for 24 hours..lol

And here i was thinking that you HAD powder coated rims......hmmm so does that mean i can paint them at home??DIY:D???

i painted mine at home,, these were chromes when i got them,,but spray paint has to be redone after few days.,, well my car tire is also 3 fingers width high.. so rim can touch uneven surface if i am not careful, but i am used to 40 profile and happy with perf.

Bhai im using 165/65s...so i guess i wont have THAT problem....so which spary di you use??

80 Rs . spray bottle.. buy 3 too start with,, always move yr hand while spraying to avoid Blob.

Rims will look like this after being sprayed black, and you said that you will put eyelids on your car's headlights, I have made a rough photoshop image for those eyelids, see if you put eyelids in this design, they'll look good, and yes, you can get custom-made headlight covers of fiber glass from any motorsports shop:)

Hai dude from my knowlegde of paints and stuff i would suggest you to paint it white the same as you body colour and that slight bulge do it blue or any other eye catching colour you like. first coat the hole rim in bright colour like blue orange purple or so the mask (tape)the bulge and spray on white colour. After a few min the paint will dry remove the tape. ad laker and hardner on for shine and you will a hell of a rims. If you live in Islamabad/ Rawalpindi i can help you in this. My advice for work is to get a professional to do the painting instead of your self as the paint will stay on for ever.

Thanks bro...the lids look good...but yeah you're right the black rims wont do any good....can you tell any good motor sport shop in lhr?

Paint the rims pure white...I mean get them PAINTED by some professional, as @fahadawan said.

And yes, i'd suggest you "MAX POWER"(Motorsports Shop) for any type of sporty mods.
