i just bought nissan sunny 1998 with GA15DE EFI engine, i need your expert suggestion....which engine oil will be best for GA15 engine (brand and viscosity), kindly help me out in this

Recommended is 5w20. What is your milrage? Do you live in cold or warm conditions? Will the car be used for long road trips or normal grocery getting?
I live in karachi....and my sunny is converted from diesel to petrol so didnt know about the actual milage as i purchased this car a month ago n engine was swap in july 17....my car uses as daily routine car means normal routine drive on weekday n sometimes long drive on weekends drive only on petrol
Liquimoly 10w40 Mos2 is best oil for your engine
10w 40 or 30 should be fine. 30 if the engine is under 80k and 40 if is over 80k.
i asked to my mechanic and he said bhai 20/50 purani gariyo main to yehi dalta hai...i said bhai gari purani hai but engine is new i mean kabli hia....waise best of my knowledge 10W 40 hi sahi hoga....as before this nissan had a baleno and use zic 20 50....kindly any acha brand other then caltex shell n total

It's an imported brand. You can find it at almost any big oil change shop. Check its seal though

Viscosity is the same as stated, only difference is contrnts in the oil. One oil may have more detergent in it and one may have more minerals. I suggest you go for Zic. shell helix sucks, so does Total quartz 5000 (I used both). They only lasted 3500 km beforing turning into a very dark brown. I suggest using Mobil, Zic, or Liqui Molu
I think mobil n liqui molu may be little higher in price or har easily available bhi nhi hoga...i think i should go for zic 10w-40 set hai na @ch.daniyal3341
