Need suggestion for Toyota Rush

Dear wheels experts,
I have very less knowledge regarding vehicle, kindly advice me regarding Toyota Rush, is it a good choice (thinking to buy just because of SUV shape).
kindly comments it's good point bad point, resell value etc
How many models available in market, what is this G grade

If it is not good then what will be alternate choice in the same budget

Toyota Rush JDM is a 1500CC SUV with Dual VVTi engine equivalent to Daihatsu Terious 1500CC 3SZ-VE DOHC. Both of them were manufactured from 2006 and still in production. Some of toyota Rush are available with 2WD and some with 4WD both in auto and manual transmission. Brand new Daihatsu Terious is available with 2WD manual transmission only while 4WD is avaiable in auto tr only, as imported by Toyota Indus. But its parts availability and resale is an issue.
1.5 S variant of Terious covers full option while 1.5 G has less options. 1.5 L variant of Rush covers full option including engine immobilizer, while 1.5 G has less options.

Alternate option is Nissan Qashqai jeep with 1.5 Common rail Diesel and 1.6 l petrol engines. The budget range is approx 2 million which is almost same as that of used toyota rush or daihatsu terious. But again here in pakistan resale and parts availability is an issue.

you can also search for a used Landrover Freelander, Toyota RAV4, Pajero IO 5 door 1.8GDi etc.

assuming the issue of resell and part in both case, which one is Better then other (Terios & Rush).

Terious and Rush are equivalent in terms of power,size, shape and fuel economy, and same resale value in pakistan. You can go for any one. One is manufactured by Toyota and the other by Daihatsu. Toyota Rush is nowadays imported from UK and Japan and is more in number than Terious. You will find more used Terious importated brand new from japan by Toyota Indus and then in last few years being used in Pakistan (means the first owner is in pakistan), and used rush nowadays importated and being used in Japan/UK for the last few years(means u can get unregistered used car but first owner was in UK/Japan).
So whatever u find in good price/condition, go for that.

By the way Terious is also available Brand new with Toyota Indus, but it is very expensive (nearly 3 million PKR).

Can any one tip me how to verify that the claim mileage on auction sheet and odo meter is actual or trailered?

Go to some car dealer who has an account on any auction sheet verification website. Give him some $$$ or Pak Rs. and chassis number of vehicle. He will show you the original auction sheet online. Save it on your USB flash.

Member pl. guide me whether to buy Toyota Rush 2008 - 2010 model used Rush which is available in market or buy some sedan equivlant to Rush price. For Ex. Corolla or Civic.

Dear Sajid,

Fuel economy of Toyota Rush is too good, I recently imported 2012 Model 2WD. Details of fuel average:
1 person with AC at 80-90 km/h = 16.4km/l
1 person with AC at 100-110 km/h= 15.1km/l
1 person with AC at 110-120 km/h= 14.8km/l
4 persons with AC at 110-120 km/h= 12.9 to 13.1km/l

Overall its a very nice choice, actually right trade off between vehicle and money.

Sir may be a dirt track or hilly terrain without asphalt road with some boulders but definitely not a steep rocky track

If it's dirt or gravel, where you just need high clearance, yes, 2wd is enough. If it's Mudd or something slippery, no, 2wd is not.
