Need Suggestions Regarding Trip to Northern Areas Right now and how can we Rent a car in Islamabad

Hi, Hope everyone doing well, I need suggestions any one can help me regarding this, I am coming from U.K on this Eid to visit my Home Land Pakistan and I want to stay in Northern Areas Tell me in May can I survive in Northern Areas or Not also tell me about the weather and further road conditions, one thing more I don't have car or SUV's in Pakistan so Can I Rent a car in Islamabad to Northern Pakistan or not If Yes then suggest me which one is the best.

You can easily rent a car/jeep from Islamabad. Google for available options. Get the vehicle with a driver so that you'll be free from any blame if the rental car breaks down, etc
May will be fine but babusar top will be closed off so if you plan on going to gilgit, hunza, skardu, you'll have to take the old silk route. The old silk route is fine but takes a bit longer and the road is broken at some parts.
