Need Suggestions to avoid new car theft

AOA dear Pakwheelers
By the grace of God, i have bought a brand new PKDM Alto Vxr 660 2020 last week..

It is a good car and has immobilizer...... but car theft is really common these days in karachi + i will soon get it insured by Adamjee or TPL..

My question is....What are the ways to avoid car theft....e.g.. removing any of its fuse or switch or wire when parked that does not harm electronics / wiring or void warranty....

your opinion and suggestions are welcome..

Put an underneath steering lock. Unplug one of the plugs in the engine and recite Ayat ul kursi and blow on it. No need of Sooud wala insurance. Soud wali ghari pakki jathi hai.

Put an underneath steering lock.

It may damage the Universal Joint (if I am naming it out correctly).

W.S. You may try steering lock and / or brake lock. It may provide some deterence. Pic for reference:

(Iss tarha k locks ka faida ye hota hai k nazar aa jatay hain, and potential thief may leave it k koi aur car daikhtay hain. It'll be a bit hassle to unlock it, although these still can be unlocked via some trick(s))

i had same setup of hockey lock in my Margalla and it got theft when i parked it outside for Juma namaz, they do take some more time of potential intruder but is not at all 100% secure.

i think installing a kill switch will be enough , u can do it urself too watching DIYs or get it from a mechanic , watch chrisfix’s video.

Buy a cheap mobile phone with a long battery life. Hide it inside the car in a way that you can easily retrieve it and charge it once a week. Keep it on silent always. If God forbid your car gets stolen immediately inform the police and let them know that phone's number. They will track where the car is within minutes.

What will be easiest installation of Kill switch which can be difficult for thief?

Best is to add a reed switch (Normally closed) with either the grounding of ignition generator or with fuel solenoid valve...

When you park you car place magnet on the reed switch it will disconnect the thing attached to it...

You will have to remove the magnet everytime you drive the car but it is really a great hack...

You can place the reed switch under the speedometer frame... or any place more suitable to you...
