Need suggestions, which bike to buy in 150CC category (CB150F vs GS150SE vs GS150)? (New or Used)

Assalamualaikum Everyone,

I need some help deciding on a 150cc bike within my budget (390K).
I'm looking at the following options:
1. Used Honda CB150 2023 with mileage.
2. Used Suzuki GS 150 SE 2022 with low mileage (under 5K). OR
3. A brand new Suzuki GS 150 2024.

I've already got a CD70 for daily use, but for trips with friends out of Karachi most often to Balochistan, I want something that matches their GS 150 SE bikes. Also, with the economy being what it is in Pakistan, I'm wondering if now's a good time to buy. Any advice on these bikes and how they handle longer trips? Plus thoughts on the common issues that arise within these bikes, would be much appreciated.

Instead of buying a used bike with multiple faults better go for a brand new GS. The bike is perfect forcity rides and long tours. CB has some known engine faults i.e weak rings and valves, expensive spare parts and low resale value.

The primary issue with the GS150 is its inadequate braking system and spoke rims.

Spokes rims are more reliable than alloys. I have seen couple of SEs with broken rims at high altitude off road tracks. Moreover the price GS alloy pair is around 35k and available only on booking.

Indeed, the main issue at hand is the braking system of the GS 150.
Is it advisable to transform a brand-new GS150 into an SE model using a kit, as being done by Mumtaz Autos in Karachi? If this conversion is carried out, will it have any effect on the resale value of the product?

Brother I went to Aurangzeb market today to mumtaz autos. Talked to them about the price, where they import from etc. Then i went to Suzuki spare parts shop at Aurangzeb market they mentioned China as the import as well with a delivery time of 1 month. Cost was 35k with front jumps, disc and rims.

From there i wemt to Margalla Motors. I had been to UR Suzuki 3 days ago but their service centre and staff was abosulte shit.
At Margalla i disucssed my concern about buying a GS150 2024 with spoke rims and converting it to SE. Suzuki will not import the rims etc on order. However, the rims etc in the SE were not Japanese. They were also chinese imports as per Suzuki.

While resale value wont be affected as it is an upgrade, you can keep the original parts with you and sell them with whenever you decide to sell.

Also, Suzuki offers a 6month warranty on the engine and everything else. Once the warranty wears off that is the best time to go for the conversion. 6 months will tell you which parts of your bike are ok and/or need replacement under warranty.

This is my plan, feel free to add any details if anyone has amy idea.

the so called "Primary Issue" with the bike is actually its "main advantage" if u want to use it for tours. its a far more relibale setup than alloy rims. Please have a look at BMW GS series. They all have spokes even on their new bikes worth more than 1.5 crore.

Spending 40k over Chinese alloys doesn't make any sense. If inly disc brake is a requirement then I'd suggest you to buy CG125 Deluxe front disc brake with hub, it will cost you around 10-12k and Deluxe braking is far better than GS SE.

Tubeless tyres prevent total flat punctures. Thats the only reason for the rims.
