Need to knw How do i calculate car average

Hello How are you all,

I have suzuki cultus 2006 I would like to ask you guys how do I know that how much km per litr my car is giving is there a way to know in modern cars it is shown in the speedometer but in old cars there is no one of them so how do I know . in bike when the tank comes on reserve then we can calculate obvious we have some petrol in reserve that we cango to nearest pump to get refuel if i try to empty car fuel tank i have no time left to get refueled lolz so confused how do I do that sorry if my question seems to be ugly

Completely Full Your Petrol Tank and Reset Meter to Zero and then drive your Car..... After traveling some Kilometers (Try to drive 100KM at least) Then again Complete Full your Petrol Tank. This is the Amount of Liter which you consume against the Kilometers you drive. Then divide Kilometers By the amount of Liters which you add in Petrol tank. This is your average.

Thank you for your kind response this is a better option let me do that i hope i will find some good average do you think it is better to check while ac is switched om to get good average

13.5 is good for a carburetor engine 1000cc car.
