Need urgent help: What to buy: Honda Vezel Sensing vs. Suzuki Vitara GLX

So guys, I need some expert opinion. Even though I’d sworn never to buy a Suzuki, I’m seriously confused about what to get given the budget. Initially, I’d wanted to go for a Fortuner, but the price differential (and the wait time) is a serious downer. I’ve listed the pros and cons below, and would SERIOUSLY appreciate professional help to make up my mind (since both fall under the same price bracket)

Suzuki vitara will be much better option .you will get a new car plus car mantainance and parts provided by Pakistan suzuki .plus grip of suzuki vitara on slippery roads during rain or snow is much better then Honda vezel in my humble opinion .

Can't say about resale and Suzuki after sale service. But on paper vitara is a better choice. Even better than the Q2 i presume.

Specially since the rumours of many vezels standing with unrectified electronic issues.

Ps I am one of those who would never buy a Suzuki but vitara seems a good buy atleast on paper

Build quality of vitara and interior is good..it is a 4by4.. brand new.. vezel is complicated with no after sale services even with most honda center... vezel also loose lot of money during resale..

Guys, thanks for your input. On paper, the comparison also hints towards a Vitara.

Would it be possible for perhaps someone who has either owner both (or at least driven both extensively) to chime in their comments?

Have Driven both Vitara and Vezel (Kept only Vezel for a year. Haven't kept a Vitara)
I'll start of by saying somethings you have mentioned in the pros and cons of both cars to help you make a decision and then my verdict.
Starting off with Vezel.
Vezel will have a auto lane detection feature but completely useless. It only useful on motorways where there are well marked lanes. Other than that in cities completely useless unless you only drive your car in Bahria or DHA or some areas like this. Now comes hybrid part. Sorry to say the hybrid of honda is not that good. Al tough honda in general would have better grip and blah blah blah but its hybrid system sucks. You wont be getting better mileage than 15Km/l or at the max 17 in the city. On Paper its pick should be great but its not that good. Could never figure it out why but its very sluggish and no acceleration at all.
Now coming to the Vitara.
Now i cant say how bad the resale of Viatar would be but it will be bad as its a Suzuki but do remember
dont expect a lot from Vezel either. A 2017 Vezel costs 3.8 million 2017 model and you can easily get a 2015 Vezel (less than 10k on the Odo) for 3.2 million so you can see its resale too.. It does have looks tough and i think better than Vezel but thats subjective and every person like stuff in his own way so thats utterly upto you. Back seat is the same for both. Not much difference both have somewhat cramped backseats. You wont have problems like rattling and stuff as this is a CBU and way way better quality than local products of Suzuki so don't worry about that. Comfort is really good. Would say both that equal comfort.

I would recommend Vitara as resale is the same. And Vitara is better but only problem would be if and if suzuki decides up removing this car from their lineup due to lesser sale then parts would become an issue but same goes for Vezel, if Honda removes HRV(same as Vezel so parts exchangeable ) parts would also be an issue here

why you do not consider Toyota CHR ? How much budget do you have ?

@adnan.shaukat, a CHR is not worth half a crore at this moment. And it's a million more than my budget. Also, I'd initially thinking of arranging a million more for getting a Fortuner, but when I heard that there's a wait time of almost 6 months, I balked

one of my friend who imports cars from Japan - did import a CHR for his client (Cost = 4.2 Million). if you check its reviews by Pakwheels at youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NnCGHZEhuI

you will see its far better than Vezel.

By the way , if you can wait till 2-3 months and buys directly from Japan in November so it will deliver you in January 2018 and you will get furher discount in the form of less duty in 2018 *It may cost you less than 4 million,

4.2-4.3-4.4 for that amount and a CHR, BMW X1 customized brand new can cost around under 4.8 Million. Which is a better deal any day in my opinion.

Totally agree with @chinyoti Mr, no need to buy accidental Vezel, New Vitara ( 3 person can not seat on rear seat ) and CHR which is imported by individuals / car dealers Not by Indus motors so we can not say anything about future of this type of cars,in next years we will see Renault and other automotives in pakistan and because of this auto makers in pakistan now in Huge panic recent example is Atlas honda so called new City with F... shark fin antenna.

By the way , I agree with Murtaza that if you have budget, go for zero meter BMW X1 or Fortuner.

All depends on how much budget you have. If you hsve higher budget then ofcourse a fortuner is better and even more budget then why not a land cruiser. But saving up money is really really difficult.

Renault has scraped plans for coming to Pakistan .they have taken their investment to Iran instead .thanks to mian mansha who was not happy with Renault company coming to Pakistan as that would had hurt his own investment in Hyundai .pathetic assholes

I just saw an X1 while I was coming back from lunch, and I must say it is absolutely drool worthy. It's in a separate league of its own.

But what I understand is that pricing wise, it's in the same league as a Fortuner. And also, it has a 3 cylinder engine. I remember my old Khyber being the last vehicle I drove that ran on 3 cylinders. Really bad analogy, but just saying..
Also, the new BMW, once we start adding features to it (like the Sunroof etc. Which the Vitara already has) would take the price above 60, no?

So confusing. So what should be the question? Vitara? Vezel? Or even an older 2013 Fortuner, some of which are being Sold on Pakwheels in the late 30's

Vitara is better anyday from your options. The topic dragged to CHR and X1,

other wise if you are considering a used car you can look for a Fortuner aswell. Or else stick to Vitara.
