Neelam Valley trip June 5-8, 2014

Visited Neelam valley with family for 4 days. Started fm pindi at 6 am on June 5 and reached jungle hotel, before Jhelum crossing, on way to muzaffarabad at 8.30, for breakfast.

Reached muzaffarabad 1030 and moved to Neelam valley straight, as it was hot. Reached keran by 1300 and had lunch.

The weather is very soft and mild morning where u don't need any warm clothes, but if it rains the weather becomes cold. Evenings r pleasant and u need a sweater. Mostly it's dry these days but sometimes it rains at once.

Started fm keran by 2.30 pm and reached Shardha by 7 pm. It rained on the way and the weather turned really cold. Went into our rooms, had booking n Ajk tourism rest house near the river. Got up early morning and it was a bright sunny day.

We had breakfast, visited a local school and saw there wonderful assembly and rolled out for Kel by 10 am. Reached Kel by 1230 dumped Lugguage at hotel and started walk towards "Arang Kel". We started around 0130 pm and the group reached the top by 3 pm. Arang Kel is a beautiful place. Words can't express. Bit tough for ladies to reach but saw many ladies walking slowly but definitely to reach there
