Neelawahn Stream and pools

yar last wekend i made a day trip to Neelawahn stream and pools in Soon Valley near Kalar Kahar

the exact distance of the the starting point of the trek is abt 155 kms from islamabad and abt 15 mins drive from Kalar Kahar. the landmark is a water tank on the right and a graveyard on the left. the trek is abt 30 mins or so....

there are 3 basic pools of Neelawahn but 2 are assesible those too very difficult to reach as the track is covered with thorn bush and very dense.....

v cudnt find any possible way to the third pool so just had a hilltop view of it....

nai nai i have done 3 treks this season after marriage

1- pir hassimar
2- jahaz banda - katora lake
3-gattian lake

these r all long trips. i have alwayz been interested in short day trips as well.....

i also took my wife along on this one coz agay bhe tu trek karnay hain na

which direction from kallar kahaar? and name of town/village from where the trekk starts? any need of local guides??

yar location is very simple. from kalar kahar to khushab road....
after 15 kms comes a small town called Bochal.
the trek starts from there.
the exact location of strating point is 1 km ahead of bochal on the same main road.....

is it a straight track? dont u think its better to take someone along who knows the area well?? wat u recommend for first timers?

no no its a very simple and straight trek. u dont need guide. u can c all the pools form above

thanks, were there crabs or other insect in water?? have u been to kenhaati garden? i hv heard a similar pond is there also....

sir there were no insects in water no crabs either

yes i have been to kanathi gardens but havent seen any such pool there. have heard of waterfalls there but no pool.

No asif, lots of crabs, in the pools, u probably missed, they are sort camouflage in the water and stones...........and yes kanhatti also have such water ponds......
