The stream passing between Taobut road/bazar and the village is a medium size stream. Its cool clear waters do
harbor trout. Fishing was not allowed this year, but last time we saw some anglers getting fish in this stream
as well as main river.
There are two streams which unite to form one about a kilometer beyond Taobut and this stream joins the Neelum river after passing through Taobut.
Locals and hikers use mountain trails in these valleys to cross the top and descend to Minimerg. A permission from Pak Army office at Kel is required for this track except for local folks and herdsmen..

We strolled up and down these mountain trails for next two days that we spent in Taobut.
