my piks r from shounter valley n that is the most beautiful place u can ever see. Lipa valley is also very good only one day required from muzaffarabad to go there n back. but shounter is a must visit place I dont know the road condition now must b a jeepable track.

Babusar road is in good shape now. xoofi - sufyan reached in corolla in just 7 hrs from naran to gilgit . babusar route is not only shorter but also pleasant to travel as compare to kkh. very soon we will on it in our sedans Inshallah .

Yes Sir, If the Babusar pass road complete I think still under construction then the tourists will follow this route for their onwards traveling towards Hunza Valley and so on. This route is shorter to reach there, but it depends on all sleeping and dead minded machinery of this country. About AWT sb he has deep feelings with him and knows the art to use of words and also drawing the beautiful sketches of the surroundings as we all are reading keenly and personally feel that we all were there with them as part of this beautiful thread and what a spectacular thread by him. Yes Shounter is beautiful place to visit as this is a jeep able track. We visited up to shounter nala on the way going to Shounter valley. You can visit by any sedan up to there and from there jeep will be needed for further traveling towards shouter valley.

We started the back traveling in groups from Arrang Kel and reached Kel (Hotel Sardar Sarhad) after tea break and packing we checked out the hotel, started back journey and reached Keran for our night stay and we stayed in Paradise Lodges Keran. (Contact detail 05821-450486 Mr. Saeed Abbasi, Mr. Raja Kamran). Keran is an interesting and beautiful place at this point Indian check posts are very close and visible and from there a way goes to Neelum villiage. I have marked in the below picture these are Indian check post and Ammunition Depot.

Next early in the morning we started the journey towards Kutton via Kundol Shahi and what a beautiful place to stay and also the location of Hydro Power Rest house Kutton must watch and don?t miss this place if you are visiting Neelum valley requested you to please plan your trip accordingly, especially all young married couples who are planning for their honeymoon they must stay to witness the true beauty of this place. Here are some contact details for Rest house advance booking. Mr. Raja Fayyaz Khan 05821-920309, 05821-920310, 0300-5219890, 0345-0536966 and Mr. Ramzan Driver 0345-59585750 he is very good and cooperative person. Unfortunately we couldn?t stay there due to earlier illness of our 02 members. They were still not feeling well and we have cancelled our further trip. We started unhappily our back journey to home??

We had missed some visiting places i.e. (Taobutt, Jagran and Shounter etc. due to illness of some family members. At last we enjoyed very much there.

Sir, firstly i would like to make a BIG SALUTE to you as you are retired from our beloved Pakistan Air Force... All personnel of force are most respectable for entire Pakistani nation... Secondly I feel extremely sorry to read your reply too late bcz on the very next day (20/09/14) of your post (19/09/14), I depart from the Karachi for NEELUM VALLEY... and today replying of 1st detailed post of yours... My trip was just for 10 days (KHI to KHI) incl.1 day in your city (but that was so hectic day spent with TQC guys) and then was busy in Eid/Sacrifice/Family blah blah...so plz.accept my apology...

Yes, you have missed worth visiting places like Taobutt, Jaagran/Kutton (Upper Neelum) etc. but at the same time you had done Arrange KEL, which is a big achievement (Y) as I could not reached Arrang KEL due to rain and some other circumstances but Insha Allah next time zarur jana hy from Kel Kinari route, which is around 3 KMs back from KEL bazaar and bit easy to reach the destination. After disappointment of Arrang KEL (that was the time of around 5pm) I spent around 1 hour at the Police Checkpost and had nice chit chat with Police Walas and then retired to same Hotel where you stayed (Sardar Sarhad for Rs.700/- ONLY)

Then, next day 7am, I left the KEL and went till Taobutt and returned back to KEL, then to Shardah, then to KERAN...Night stayed at KERAN in a very neat & clean Neelum Green Hotel (you can check that in your thread you have shared 1 pic).... Next day I visited Upper Neelum (beautiful Kutton Waterfall & zabardast French Colony at Jaagran)... Then same day reached MZD with short break at beautiful DHANI WATERFALL.
