New 0 meter Suzuki VXR modification

Hi Fellows,

I am about to recieve my Alto this week, since it is my first car what should be the changes made in stock car.

Do i need to make any changes for better performance or should i drive it same as recieved without any changes made.

Assistance is required.

Get good quality floor mats, seat covers if you think are necessary. It's a economy car made for local travel so best not to to try to modify the car.
But if you want to go the Type R route i.e performance stickers, fake exhaust cap, other 'modification', then just visit your local car decoration shop.

To be honest, customization in sense of cosmetics doest not make any noticable difference. Consider spending on performance and longevity of engine .

Agreed, I want the modification to be done just to get the best performance. I heard the stock tyres are not good and its mandatory to get them changed for proper braking. Is it true ?

As per local manufacturer Suzuki is bound to use local manufactured tyres that's are General Tyres, you can change the brand with japanese one, but stick to same size.

sir best thing you shall do after 1st warranty service is to change engine oil grade to 5W-20 from Shell / Havoline.

That will improve upon engine performance and fuel economy.
also i will recommend adding a reverse camera and rear hatch lip extension.

its a budget/economy car, purpose built for fuel economy to let it be like that, however u can add below:

1. rubber/silicon floor mats for easy cleaning over supplied carpet mates
2. Rain visors a.k.a. air press on windows
3. an arm rest ( the one which goes into rear cup holders and dont require any nut bolt action)
4. a DVR with rear view camera, it gets clipped on rear view mirror and gets power from cig lighter slot, no wire cut etc needed hence warranty stays intact provides dvr function and rear view camera.
5. sun shades on windows and rear window
6. utility tray in hatch
7. wheel cups on wheels
8. mud flaps
9. steering leather wrap
10. upgraded headlight halogen bulbs for better visibility
11. ecu cover to provide protection against water splashes.
12. key fob silicon cover to protect damage to plastic fog
13. matching seat covers.
14. rear door speakers
15. steering lock rod

after these u can look for any modifications if needed

How can the rear view camera be installed without voiding the electric warranty?

Yes, this has already discussed on different threads, you have to do it with the prior knowledge (sort of permission) and taking your 3S dealer in confidence otherwise they will declare your warranty as VOID

Sir, is main back camera ko power supply denay kay liye back light ki wire cut ki jati hai. Kya is say warranty void nahi hogi? Correct me if I am wrong, please?

its clipped on the existing rear view mirror using rubber mounting clips, snaps on really tight n stays there.

im using it as dvr only as i already had the rear view camera in built in screen.

however, u really dont need to cut or splice the wire to get power for rear camera, instead u can tuck the wire in the clip to get signal.

any modification in electronics voids warranty technically, however there r certain exceptions but if there is a major electrical issue discovered, the company can still challenge ur warranty status

open the grip, insert sliced wire in the female part and then close the grip, u can goto an expert electrician, its very easy
