New AC for Mehran

Pleae tell me anybody about mehran AC. I have Mehran 2007 without AC, is AC suitable for Mehran bcz some ppl said that do not install the AC in Mehran. Also tell me about good Mechnic in Lahore for New AC.

meray bhai 800 cc gari mein Ac ka koe faida nahin...
i own our family dabo car fx, 85, 800 cc...although ac is installed but i dont use because of heat up problem & burnt out gas kits...
Also my mrs owns mehran vxr cng 2011, & its AC is not good enough although it is zero meter & completing its running on petrol....So better dont go 4 AC in Mehran!!!

aoa maray bahi me ne apni mehran me ac lagawaya hay sandan ka singapore compressor it puts less load as compared to denso and cheap its ac cooling is great whole setup cost 22000rp from rwp from western car ac.ac lagawa lo meray car ac ke sat cng per 100 kar laty hay.

@irfannaqvi i totally agree with alichand999 go for the compressor with less load, i have a mehran vxr model from past 5 years now ff ac/cng and it works fine and yeah it gives quite a load on car little engine but you go for a light load compressor it wont be an issue

yup u r right to some extent and even my margalla 95 has always had AC issues after 10 years of drive....the AC worked but every year either a pipe was blown resulting in engine getting too hot or gas leakage....now we have 05 vti too so i came to know that perhaps its better to drive margalla without AC...
nd i have neva seen bigger thieves than auto AC shop guys with one-two exceptions..:(..

i think you shud try mini pajero compressor. since the pajero engine is even smaller than that ov mehran it will put less load. and i have heard that it has better cooling than the one which comes factory fitted

my cousin installed the same compressor from a mini pajero in his 08 mehran( effective at night time:D)...........but now he faces engine heat up problems

don't install AC in mehran as engine heats and you'll face lot of problems. I used that in my mehran back in 2006 and then I remove it due to heatup issues.

i own MEHRAN 91 .... m also deciding to go for NEW DENSO AC as m having another MEHRAN 2007 and in it ..it is fitted ( NEW DENSO AC ) nd working awesome ... it is also working gud at noon and no heat up issue or any other issue i faced till now !!!!...
go for new DENSO AC ....

I am using AC in my Mehran 2007. Sendan AC. working awesome cooling in night and mornning. But in too much hot its cooling is not good . but even its better to down your window in afternoon.

heat up issue is also present with stock compressor. it shud be effective. well there is also another option. those compressors are called "success" they are chinese but people say that they are working better than their original compressors. probabbly because they use r12 gas

a piece of advice to all mehru owners. before you go for a drive get the water hose and spray the condenser with water. i do the same for my car, it really improves cooling, you do not have to wait, you get cool air as soon as you press the ac button

AC tripping is excellent
Temp gauge needle ever stay slightly above C
Engine is very gud wid gr8 pick up
everything is on standard setting
Thermostat Valve
Thermostat Fan
Even heater is not blocked

These days em facing a minor issue, in long run usually in afternoon in extreme hot weather, the compressor works continuously without tripping, in that case the air become normal from cold, in that case if i turned off AC and again turned ON after 5 mints it starts working normally, can any 1 explain what the reason behind it plz???

could be tht ur compressor is coverd in mud or dirt...clean compressor as it also sheds its heat frm its body n wen its body is covered in mud or dirt,it wont let go heat easily so it wont work to its peak!

The compressor is already cleaned from dirt n mud and seems like new 1

its about 6 years
i have a mehran vxr with factory fitted a/c and cng
altough its factory fitted
but it had never worked from start
it only works in winters

its useless
i have blown gaskit many times as i didnt bother to watch the temp gauge
as its normal for it to touch red bar in normal working
haven't found a way still to fix the problem

on the other hand my uncle has 2007 mehran his a/c works fine
the temp do not go above middle

i have stopped thinking that i have ac in my mehran
its useless car with or w/o A/c
