The first gear of Prosmatec 1.8 cuts at 72kph and 2nd gear goes well beyond 120 n thrid cuts at 180. Are you sure you want to race?

Dude you are pretty wrong.Prosmatic 1st gears max does 60km/h .I said max.And second about 110.Even Altis which has 4 speed auto with long gears does 65 in 1st gear.

According to my knowledge, Pros has longer gears than manual, my manual cuts at 69 in first.

what about manual. i guess manual can accelerate faster and gain more speed than prosmatec at each gears. I only think so, might be wrong..... throw some light on this...

Manual Civic's have 'shorter' gear ratio's (ie. 63kph for 1st gear and around 112 for 2nd) that is why the acceleration of prosmatec is pretty low as compared to manual since the 5th gear of Manual is equally active and plays its part in making the car reach +200kph. Where as in Prosmatec there is no such thing.

If we race manual against prosmatec, by the time prosmatec will reach redline rpm on 'D1', the manual will already be in 2nd gear and thus will be around 20kph faster then the prosmatec PROVIDED both cars get a uniform and equal start which is very hard due to absence of clutch and tire spin in prosmatec.

Against Tundra and Levin or Steermatic/Civic 05?

And these video's prove what? In the first video the guy is driving in 'D' which in no way lets the engine reach the fuel cut and in the second video the guy is driving in Sport Mode which is actually offered in few countries and Japan, thailand, pakistan are none of those.

So before making any such research, kindly check and RECHECK that you're not making a fool out of yourself.

69.......I once did 73 on my ex Prosmatec and then i saw the rpm dropping and rising and dropping and rising and so on. It was actually the fuel cut.

69 is a HOT number you know
yaar depends on the conditions, 65-69..ive experienced them all lol
plus since its a digital meter, numbers varry quiet a lot..but the range is 65-69 for manuals..when you shift to 2nd gear it is always 70+ being showed on the speedo.
