Aoa Everyone, i booked an alto recently on 13 May 2025 and paid Full payment according to their policy. The delivery tenure promised is 2 months but the salesmen told me that the car will be delivered in a month or more. I am concerned that will this new budget will effect me in any way or not? If the car is delivered before 30th june. Am i safe? Should i also register before 30th june. Or the registration will be the same.
From what I understand, If your car is invoiced before June 30th, you will pay the old amount irrespective of delivery. As for registration, right now nothing has changed, but that doesn't mean that it won't/ can't.
hi - I have similar question as well. We booked on 19 May 25 with Provisional Down Payment (PBO) and balance payment is due in Jun (until 20-Jun-25). Will we be impacted with new 18% slab?
If your car is invoiced before 1st July you will not have to pay 18%. But if Suzuki manages to drag it to July then unfortunately you will have to pay 18% tax which will add almost 150k - 200k on the current price.
