New Car Invoice

I Recently Purchased Brand New Suzuki Alto VXR. Got car delivery on same day but the dealership said You'll get Invoice in 30-40 days they just gave me a delivery letter is it normal?

This is not normal you usually get invoice on same day or after 3-4 days. Did you book your car.. or you got ready delivery. Or this is an open invoice car

I just go to showroom asked for Price and the sales person said you can get your car now pay the amount and get your car but you'll receive Invoice after 30-40 days.

But now I'm confused and worried a lot. I also contacted the dealership, and they said you don't need to worry; you'll get the invoice after 30 days.

Dealership usually have a quota for per month car sales like 4 alto vxl etc if they exceed that quota, computer will not generate the invoice, so they wait till next month. I think May be this is the case. But i am not sure kindly call any other dealership of suzuki and ask them that is this the practice or you can always call the suzuki helpline.
& i am sure you didn’t pay them in cash instead it was pay order on pak suzuki ltd name.?

They do have open invoice cars , you'll get the car with a letter saying they sold you abc car with xyz chassis number etc and after 1 or 2 weeks an invoice in your name will be generated and delivered to you by showroom.

Call them and clarify if the "Vehicle has already been invoiced with dealership name" or will you get "Invoice in your name"
If the invoice is in dealership name you'll face extra registration charges if you get a fresh invoice in your name you'll be the first owner in documents and smart card.

Suzuki takes 8 to 10 working days for invoice, if any issues or a cars invoice has to be reissued it can take a little longer.

In any case such a car is not drivable and can challaned for driving a unregistered car.

My cultus took almost 1 month for invoice issuance. But usually it comes under 15 days/2 weeks.

The showroom gave me someone else's car then reinvoiced it on my name. Also offered to take another car and return this car 700 kms driven.

Yes they gave me Delivery Letter with my name and car chassis number mentioned on it.
