New City 1.3 Prosmatic or 1.5 Prosmatic

Dear All,

I am upgrading my 2016 City 1.3 I-VTEC Manual Transmission in next week. I am used to honda city and very much satisfied with it but now need an automatic car. Price of new 1.3 Prosmatic is 25.09 lakhs and price of new 1.5 Prosmatic is 25.59 lakhs. With car is better kindly advise?

No it is optimal for 1.5 auto in this car. 1.3 auto is sluggish and therefore less average.

Even the yearly tax is same, 1.5 is better in all aspects

Someone in my family booked a 1.5L, they had to change to aspire later because honda had delaying issues with 1.5 standard check before you book.

Yes exactly, if 1.5 standard wasnt made in stock then It wont be available, unless they clear stocks

I have confirmed it from multiple Honda 3S dealerships throughout Punjab that from 27th February, Honda is starting City's production and my car will be delivered within first week of February. Atleast this way it will be 2020 production.

Also i asked them about new generation of city and they told me that it is still expected in 2021

I am planning to book 1.5L Manual city through bank lease. What you guys think that buying in 2020 city continued since 2009 shape is a Wise Choice? OR SHOULD I go for Ciaz? OR other Good option?

brother i went through the same dilemma. The only issue with Ciaz (despite being better in every aspect) is its resale. i know it sounds cliched but its the truth. Also Ciaz is CBU car imported into Pakistan so there is no guarantee that suzuki will continue it due to low number of sales resulting in spare part availability issues as well. So i would recommend you to book City. Atleast its less risky

Ciaz is being discontinued by Pak Suzuki.
