hi guys,im thinking about converting my new civic A/T to CNG,ive heard it creates problem with gear changing,is it true??if yes,is there ne cure ????
yes of course you can. you wont even feel it. trust me.
thanx alot vajh, any more suggestions guys ???
bro i have cng in my se saloon manual and it have no problem and very smooth. but when i was installing the cut mechanic told me that toyota a/t cant having problem but honda city and civic A/T have problem after 2 or 3 months on cng coze their gears cant take the oil in good level thts y honda A/T creating problem in cng.
really? m surprised because my personal experience has been with a Japanese `95 Corolla (my own), crown and cuore. all suck. crown's top speed fell to just 60 or max 80 TRUST ME from 220. i drove a friend's automatic exi and man, couldnt even feel it.
hello!Vajih....Crown on max 60 to 80 :|.....i can't believe...my heavy Nissan SUnny on 1.0L engine on CNG with 5 pplz crosses 60km on 3rd and if car was in long straight road...it can go above 100..and empty car easily makes that 100...so its crown.....with Huge Toyota engines....95 corolla is 12Valve and 1.3L and Civic Exi was 16 Valve and 1.5L...so here comes difference...also engine health makes difference....weak engine lose power on CNG.....and u said Exi was new...so it can make difference....drive any Saloon or XLi on Gas and see results..Thanxx
i drive my se saloon on 140 km/h on cng but road cant allow me more then it.
oh yes . . . you're right . . . i never even thought of that! thanks!
well sometimes i feel the gear changes earlier(shifts into the upper gear) then it would on petrol.cause a little power loss but, keeping the Rev low.Not a big deal : )
so, whats the conclusion regarding new vti ???
dear mjalichhere is a link to a question i aired about vti and exi on gas.
in short, according to cool_blue, vti shall be better.
