we had just got new Gli automatic for home use but sadly i m in London for my studies so cannot give the verdict unfortunately .. Its in black color and its simple auto version, we sold SE Saloon to get that one as se saloon had seen its days. My brother told me that he was satisfied with the performance of new Gli, bought the simple one because it would be mostly driven by driver

bhai 2010 model glia can fetch more than 15 lakh cuz urs is scratch less as u said n very minimal driven..so can easily go for something 15 or above!

The international specs of the 1.6 Corolla with a ZR engine has a 4 speed Super ECT auto transmission with no switchtronic. Hence, Toyota Indus cannot put in a switchtronic transmission that simply hasn't been made.

On the other hand the new 2ZR-FE engine (1800cc) which hasn't been introduced in Pakistan supports a CVT 7 speed automatic transmission.

Is it necessary to put on seat covers on Altis sunroof 1.6 (New 2011) which aleady have a perforated partial leather seats. plz help out. If it so, will it be a fabric seat cover on top of leather seat cover, what u guys recommand. I just want to keep the seats maintained n clean.

no need to put seat covers in 1.8 million car.ITs leather seats are already perfect and superb for comfort.

u can go for seat covers if u want the seats to be clean and new.depends on ur usage also.if ur car is like 2nd or 3rd in ur house and used very rare then dont go for covers.

There was no fault with that.It works flawlessly.THe problem is that triptronic is not compatible with new 1.6 zr engine

What i personaly think is, its basicly done to keep to the GLi AT cost saver for Indus they brought the old tranny, nd not making 2 tranies they kept the same in Altis as well.

We r CNG loving nation & car manufactures are cleaver heads over their shoulders combination of trip-tonic & CVT transmission needs a bit sophisticated electronic's & sensors and when ""HAJI sab(new/mausoom buyer) send a brand new car via driver to install CNG , seat covers, air freshener , stand on the inside of the roof for tissue kay dabay kay leayy and on return car didn't perform & eventually CVT was ruined it came out for sale mentioning 100% fit car for sale :)"""

My friend the way we abused and misjudge honda city steermatic no company will make a courageous & risky decision to launch CVT/triptonic/dual transmission/(what ever u called) in Pakistan after observing the honda city steermatic failure.
Steermatic was launched in 2006 & its the only model which honda needs to pull back so quickly with in one year because we did not understand it otherwise I think its the most economical and only local brand car in which you can enjoy CVT , 7 speed trip-tonic & dual transmission with good power weight ratio.

Honda Steermatic and Altis tiptronic can not be compared. As far as I know steermatic worked on a different principle i.e. it restricted number of gears. Plus CVT & Tiptronic are different things.

I have a 2010 Altis Cruisetronic. Has done 50,000km in 1.25 years and not a single problem anywhere. No problem at all in cruise control or tiptronic transmission which is used regularly. Only fault/issue we faced was the cigarette lighter getting loose (a month back) which was fixed FOC by Toyota

If this is the color scheme youre getting in India, so we have upgraded :D. . We still lack steering controls and the indash audio, and they also dont give the passenger seat belt light warning here. (i wud be glad if there was a extra comparment there as in the previus gen.)

Preface lift interior had the same combination here, brown beidge, now its greyish/Black and beidge

1.6 AT is not Switchtronic internationally, rather the 1.8 AT is more advanced and offers 7speed CVT. Moreover, it is good not to have switchtronic/tiptronic in a car which have ECO zone to ensure the driving is fuel efficient and there's no manual switch to shuffle speed choices.
