In all honesty I do not see any point in buying this car. The specs have disappointed me. Safety is and should be the top priority of buyers. No dual airbags and No immobilizer means this car is simply not worth the money. Considering this car is one of the most stolen vehicles around and hardly has any occupant safety features... the Altis simply has not progressed in terms of safety and security in the last 10 years.
Civic is a far better buy than Altis in my view at least you get dual airbags with dual force limiter seat belts with immobilizer. Furthermore, civic is not a higher end trim of the City it's a totally different car unlike Altis which is simply a higher end trim of an XLi.
Unfortunately, over here in Pakistan these assemblers think seat adjusters, chrome grills, fog lamps and alloys are more important than airbags and abs. Airbags and Abs are now mandatory in many countries by law. fancy cosmetic items are not..
