Their is nothing before July, So dont get excited, Rumours of the new shape was bring the cars to go below control price. I can show you showrooms having atleast 30 cars parked in all trims.

Closing the booking is just to create fuss and increase the value of the car creating artificial demand / Supply gap.

Just called up Toyota Islamabad in Aabpara Islamabad. They don't have any cars of any trim (Altis, GLi or XLi) in stock and not taking bookings of the current model anymore. This clearly implies that the new body-shell is coming any minute. When? It's anybody's guess. I suppose it should be within two to three weeks.

The launch has nothing to do with the budget as the budget exercise is over and auto sector consultations held long ago.

budget has still to be presented in parliament and there can be some changes in policies so its never happened new models launching near budget..i can bet on it

An auto giant like IMC cannot afford two months gap due to model change and budget. The govt does not fiddle with big players in the last minute changes. All the things have already been sorted out and now the MoF is busy in documents preparations.

Toyota Airport and Toyota Walton both have same owners so check frm any other dealership bro

I also demand/want/wish immobiliser in Corolla. But immobiliser or any type of state of the art anti-theft device in Corolla will not be a deterrent for the car lifters as they will find a work around so quickly. So when it comes to Corolla, insurance is your best friend.

BTW what do you need to bypass an immobiliser? A spare ECU, switch and coded key.

@Autophile............You're absolutely right Sir, that's all what's basically required.

Yet, without the immobilizer, you know .......every second street bum can hot-wire the "Dabba" with much simpler tools in minutes. At least there's some solace with the damn thing.
