indus motors has already started book8ng for altis top of line yestersday with the booking price of 24 lac 50 thousand.
delivery will be in july .
xli and gli will be launched in december

The booking that is before unveiling of new model and actual price list of all trims is done by 3s dealers on their own.. Indus Motor has nothing to do with it directly.. Dealers attract customers by promising quick deliveries to those who book in advance but infact the purpose is just to collect free money and earn markup.. Secondly there can NEVER be a gap of 6 months between Altis and Gli/Xli.. This is also a tactic of dealers to get as many as possible bookings for Altis

Maximum one month bcoz increasing the time gap wont help Altis much.. Shoqeen Hazraat who just want to take new shape home as early as possible wud go for it. Those interested in Gli Xli will prefer to wait

booking for current model is still there.....time period is 6 weeks.....some dealers might not be booking cars in order to earn premium

To boost the sale of the least selling trim. If they release the 1.3 trim with altis all those people who buy new shape just to show off(no offence to those who genuinely buy the vehcle for use) would buy the 1.3 version and altis would be the sitting duck. Now if they only launch altis all those people are forced to buy altis. Its a tactic boost their sales.

I happened to be at Toyota Islamabad Two days ago and was told booking had to be done for current shape 1.3l Variants.

Well, I was with an ex- Suzuki manager an hour ago, celebrated his birthday at his house. We then started talking about Cars ( Duhh)
and I told him that I saw the password for www.Suzukifamily.com.pk and he didn't mind at all. He will try to get me Toyota's one, ONLY if most of the workers know it. If only the directors or owners know it, no luck then.
Suzuki is using that service for a year or so now- All news regarding cars and parts etc. are uploaded there, they are basically going " Paperless- Save the environment. "

Exactly. A Dealer was called From Japan to explain his position for leaking out details last year and he Thus had to tender a written apology.
