I heard gst on vehicles is being reduced from 17 % to 5%. If that comes out to be the case. Then altis will be 2.2 mil max

Its not on vehicles, The proposal says to reduce GST from 17 % to 5 % on everything and there would be no concept on adjustment/Returns.

i was once again disappointed to see too many emblems & stickers on the back of the new corolla. They call the top of line version as "Altis Grande" and in addition to Toyota logo, Toyota word & Corolla Altis Grande, they have put separate emblem for 1.8, separate emblem for SR, and separate sticker for 7 speed CVT & each of them badly misaligned.

why disappointed? dont like it just de badge it!

its not that easy to crack immobiliser, unless the car jackers come equip with programmed and matching key with them OR able to add a new key and reprogram with ECU, evidence the toyota cars that are currently imported and have immo enabled key systems are not cracked and hence less stolen.

Actually it can be done by changing ECU in car simply.

There exists the immobilizer with 2 stage deterrence. Where the ignition key receptor, ECU and the key all are mated with each other. This simple technology existed in Liana since its birth. Even the change of ECU can not start the car.

IMC being party with the car lifting mafia never offered it.
